We didn't have Christmas plans, so LeRoy's brother and his wife were kind enough to invite us over for Christmas dinner at their house.

Christmas Day

Jan and Joan had another birthday. To celebrate, Susan took Jan to see Brian Burns (top notch Texas singer/songwriter) in Grapevine. We then went down to the dog track (where Susan and Dad hit the big time for a change!), and then on to Joan's beach house where Richard cooked up some real good food!

Birthday Weekend

Jan and Susan went to the opening day of the fair, and had a good time with a corny dog!

Jan's Big Day at the Fair!

We met with Channel 11's Shannon Hori while we were at the fair. Afterwards, we sent her that link, and on the morning of October 10, she showed the email and the web page, specifically the pictures of Jan buying a corny dog and when Jan met Shannon. Fun!
